About Course

In the Intermediate Tenses Module, students will focus on continuous verb forms to express actions in progress at different times. This module includes three key lessons: the Present Continuous, used for actions happening now or around the present; the Past Continuous, which describes past actions that were ongoing or interrupted; and the Present Continuous for Future, used to talk about scheduled or planned future events. Through structured practice, examples, and communication tasks, students will build the skills to use these tenses naturally and accurately in both spoken and written English.

Present Continuous Tense
In this lesson, students will learn to use the Present Continuous tense to talk about actions that are happening right now or around the current time. They will practice forming the tense using am/is/are + verb-ing, and explore how it’s used in real-life situations like conversations, descriptions, and short-term activities. The lesson will also cover common time expressions (e.g., now, at the moment, currently) and clarify the difference between Present Simple and Present Continuous. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to describe ongoing actions with confidence and accuracy.
